At Eight Months

Little 'Mister',
I cannot believe how quickly the months are zooming by.  You are already eight months!  I don't even remember what it is like to have a tiny baby in the house.  You are already such a big boy.  Sometimes, your Daddy and I look at you and think, 'who is that big kid?'

You are the sweetes tlittle guy.  Definitely a third born personality- laid back, patient- but you get angry when you can't do something.  Thankfully, you don't get easily frustrated so we don't see that side of you often.

Right now you are crawling every which way.  You are so excited to be able to follow your brother and sister and finally get your hands on all of their stuff!  You crawl yourself into corners and behind furniture and give the silliest giggle when we "peek-a-boo" find you.

You just keep growing and growing.  We're not sure how much you weigh this months but you are starting to wear size 9-12 month clothing.  You're growing because you are an eater.  You love to eat!
And your new favorite is quinoa!

You are finally sleeping through the night!  It's been a couple of weeks and we think you are about ready to move into  your big boy room with your brother.  He is so excited to share his room.  He has been talking about it since we found out you were a boy!

Who is this big kid????

We loved getting you ready for Halloween.  You giggle in your little parrot costume and you are still trying to figure out how to get the beak in your mouth.

We love you, little monkey!!!

Harvest Fair

'The Boy's' school had a fun harvest fair day for the kindergartners in lieu of a Halloween celebration.  (Public schools are funny.)  I was able to help run a game station for the morning.  It was adorable and 'The Boy' had so much fun with his friends.

Such a fun morning!  I hate to admit it but I was apprehensive about sending him to public school.  I had been told that we aren't in the greatest school district.  It has far exceeded my expectations.  It is an absolutely amazing school and I couldn't have picked better.  We all love, as early as kindergarten, the school has welcomed us into their family.  And, most important, 'The Boy' is so happy.

Birthday Celebration at Disneyland

In true Johnson birthday week fashion, we finished 'The Boy's' fifth birthday celebration with a trip to Disneyland.  It was very exciting because it was our first trip to Carsland.  'The Boy' had been begging to go for a few months.  But it wasn't a birthday gift.  He had to earn 30 stickers for outstanding behavior in order to go.  So proud of you, bud!

'The Hubs' pushed the colossal double stroller from the parking lot to the park so that we could ride on the tram.  'The Boy' loves the tram.  He counts it as a ride at the end of the day.
As soon as we got there, we ran the birthday boy to Radiator Springs Racers.  It has the longest line and GiGi and Pop stood in it while we were in the car.  'The Boy' only had to wait 30 minutes of the 2 and a half hour wait.

And he loved it!  That's him in the middle of the back row.

'Mister' seems to be getting a hang of this eating on the go thing.

While 'The Boy' was on his ride, 'The Hubs' and I took 'Munchkin' and 'Mister' to Bugsland for a bit.

I just love this little girl!

We went on so may rides and had a great day despite the awful heat.  My boys cooled off in The Little Mermaid ride.

Appears that he had a fantastic birthday!
